It was a crazy morning today. We all were ready at different times which meant we all headed down to the beach at different times and then Dad and Eric didn't come down at all. Bailey went down with Mom & Geri and fussed once she got down there calling for me. Then Reagan & I made it down there by then Bailey had calmed down but was still clingy to me some (this is when the snack was offered). The Manders drove the golf cart down there and joined us. I got Bailey out in the water but she wouldn't go to anyone else so I could take Reagan out. Then she wanted to come back to the house to be with Daddy. So we drove the golf cart back, which she loved! She tried to help me drive it. We got to the house and no Daddy; he was out riding his bike. We waited some and then gave up & drove the golf cart back so the others could have it when they left. Well as we got down to the beach, Brandon & the girls were walking back to the house to go to the pool. So then I just drove the golf cart back with Bailey and then we saw Eric coming in on his bike. Bailey stayed with him and I drove the golf cart back to the beach and got in some time there.
All the girls napped again, so that was good. I got in a little time at the pool while they were having quiet time.
We all then headed up to the 1st annual Cape San Blas lighthouse arts & crafts festival. Yeah, there was nothing there really. Oh well! So we then headed to Mexico Beach for dinner. They are on CST so when we got there is in between their dinner & lunch service and was not busy yet. Which is good when you have 3 kids with you!
We stopped by the lovely Piggly Wiggly on our way back, wow they are all sorts of people there! We played the Seinfield Scene It game and the girls won! Which they dispute of course.
Monday morning, I got up later for my run, but went out since I was only running 3.5 miles. Boy was it humid and windy! I saw lightning during my run, which kept me going. We got some good rain and the waves are pretty strong. We're thinking it is going to be a pool day with the kids since who knows when we will get more rain!

Happy 4th of July!
It was great getting to spend July 4th at the beach! I missed running in the Peachtree with my friends; that is just a wonderful tradition! But I did get up & run my own PRR down Cape San Blas Rd. Good thing was, that I was done just as my friends were starting the PRR! And by the time they were done, I was getting ready to go out on the beach!
We had a good morning at the ocean and both girls got in and loved jumping the waves as they clung to me or Eric. Bailey just giggled at it all. We stayed out longer than planned because they were having so much fun with everything.
We separated all 3 girls again at naptime and they all got in naps again! Reagan was out quick this time since Eric was with her but Emma took awhile to fall asleep but only slept for a short time. Reagan rarely naps and does not nap 2 days in a row, so that tells you how worn out they are.
With their late naps, Bailey went down to the beach with Kelly & family while I stayed with the sleeping Reagan who couldn't wake up. By the time she woke up & had a snack it was 4:30 or so; so we just went to the pool.
We had some good steak for dinner and then relaxed before heading out to the beach. The guys had a fire pit set up for a small bonfire and the tiki torches all around our area and the fireworks all set up. It was great and we had smores also! They did a great job with it all and we really enjoyed it. Bailey of course didn't really like the fireworks, but she didn't cry and Reagan just buried herself into Mama with her ears covered.
It was a great July 4th; just wish James was here to celebrate it with us!

Friday at the beach
We had another good day at the beach. The guys spent the day out fishing and are still swaying from being out on the water. The girls were a little overtired this morning at the beach so we split them up for naptime and they all 3 got a good nap.
The water is a little rough for the girls, so we have to carry or hold each one while they are out there. But they are having a blast and enjoying it.
They are a mess and into everything and are everywhere! Reagan & Eric caught a lizard and Reagan was so thrilled. Of course they were a little scared when it was time to let him go.
Brandon & Kelly rode on the tandem bike and pulled Emma. Then they took the golf cart up to the ice cream shop but it was closed.
Bailey took a walk with Mama & Papa D as they walked the dogs.
The fireworks are already starting around here; actually Brandon & Eric are out on the beach now.

Our first day at the beach
We had a wonderful first day at the beach. The weather was great and the water was nice. I got in a run this morning to get it all started. It was a warm muggy 4 mile run, but I got it in and done.
Mom took the 3 girls down to the ocean while the rest of us gathered everything up to bring down. When Eric & I got down there, there was Reagan at the shoreline with her feet in the ocean! Huge step for her! She has not gone that close to the ocean since she was 11 mths! She wasn't ready to make the big step to go in the ocean yet, but she was doing good. Bailey went in with Eric and loved it. Finally after a little bit Reagan was finally ready and went in with Eric carrying her. She did great!
The girls loved playing in the sand and the ocean this year so we stayed down there longer than normal.
In the afternoon we just hit the pool. Poor Bailey's eyes were bothering her from everything so she was miserable.
Now the drive down was not that great with Bailey's screaming on & off; but we forgot about that (well maybe not Eric) when we pulled up at the beach house and she was cheerfully saying with her barefeet in the air, "i'm at the beach!" She wanted Eric to put the window down as soon as she saw the water!
The boys have gone to get some seafood for us to eat for dinner and fishing licence so they can go fishing tomorrow.

Bailey's big girl bed
Bailey slept in her big girl bed on Monday night and did great! After she calmed down and got in bed she stayed in there the whole night and was actually asleep quick! Not sure how long that is going to last though.
