Christmas Celebration #2

Due to Geri & James going to Florida on Christmas Eve to celebrate Christmas with his family, we had our Gilbert Family Christmas on the 22nd at Mama & Papa D's house. Mama made a great lunch that we enjoyed before we started the gift opening. From their house we headed to Greensboro for the Dyar "Christmas Eve" celebration, which will be in the next post (if I can get to that one today).

Gingerbread House

So, Reagan got to make another Gingerbread house, this time it was a real one! Well the house was already made and all we had to do was "glue" it together & decorate! Reagan loved it almost as she did getting to taste it!

Reagan's Christmas Play

Reagan's Christmas Play was wonderful and they did a really good job. Reagan did say her line but you couldn't really hear her, but she made the attempt which is great! All of the kids did really well and the parents & family enjoyed it! The teachers taped the play during the day so we would have a tape of how the play "should" be. After the play we decorated gingerbread houses and Reagan did a great job on hers, she decorated it all by herself!

Christmas Celebration #1

We had our first family Christmas celebration on Sat the 15th at Pops & Grandmother's house with our family and Kristi & Tony. The girls had a great time and Bailey finally got to meet Grandmother & Pops. We had a great time and the gifts were great! Everything was wonderful except for our 6 hr ride home!

St Nick Day

St. Nick is a big day in our family, even for the non-German side. Eric & I got engaged on St Nick Day in 1999, Emma Grace joined our family in 2004 and this year Bailey had her blocked tear duct surgery. The surgery went well now we just have to wait and see and make sure it worked. But her eyes are looking better!

The Holiday's are Here!

The Holiday's have arrived! Reagan helped decorate somewhat. The girls are enjoying everything especially a few of the decorations. They have visited with Santa twice and no one cried! It was great!
