Fall Festival & Papa's birthday

I thought I would get a quick post out here before I post this coming weekend about Halloween. As you know how it is in the Fall, we've been non-stop almost every weekend! And don't seem to have an open weekend anytime soon! Well I meant to post this before Halloween, but so much for that happening! Anyway, will go ahead and get this posted and will post Halloween pics & info this weekend. As most of you know we've been busy with Bailey this week with her having a viral infection & rash.

Reagan, Bailey & I went with Kelly, Emma & Mom to the Fall Festival. Geri & James and their dogs (Champ & Scooter) met us there also. Champ & Scooter were riding in their new stroller (yes, Geri & James have a doggy stroller!) We had a good time and the weather was great! The girls had a blast playing on the jumpy thing, riding a pony & riding the train. The girls did great and held each others hands walking around the festival.

This past weekend was Papa's birthday, so we went to Greensboro for a visit and to celebrate his birthday. It was good to see everyone. Reagan had fun helping Papa open his gifts. They of course all enjoyed Bailey, especially since Mama was not there!

TN Trip Day 2 - TN Aquarium

Reagan was all excited that she slept in the same bed with Mommy and even slept under the big comforter like Mommy. After we had a big breakfast and got all packed up, we headed over to the Aquarium.

Reagan had her moments during the trip and was scared but overall she had a great time and even said "this is fun!". She didn't touch the sting rays or sharks like Daddy & Mommy, but did get to see Nemo & Dory!

Bailey fell asleep as we headed over there and stayed asleep for little bit since it took awhile for Eric to get the tickets. She woke up not far into the trip but did great in the seat until the end where she was getting a little tired of it all. She loved looking at all the fishes, especially once she was out of the seat and could actually see everything.

We enjoyed our trip to the Aquarium and both girls behaved which is always a plus. Now we're back in the car and on to Nashville!

TN Trip Day 1 - Chattanooga

So we survived the trip to Chattanooga. Both girls did well on the ride. Of course Reagan wouldn’t go to the bathroom when we picked Eric up at work, so we had to stop on the way there. And of course there was nothing at the next exit so we had to pull off on some trail and let Reagan use her portable seat. Bailey fell asleep as we got into TN, which meant a short nap since Chattanooga isn’t far from the TN line.

We got checked into the hotel and then went over to the Children’s Discovery Museum. Both girls had a blast and were great with little naps! Reagan checked it all out, she dug for dinosaur bones, played with stamps, danced, played with bubbles, played on the rooftop, played in the little house, drove a car, and played with a train set. Of course I think Eric had more fun than Reagan, he played with everything also and made a tissue ghost! Bailey enjoyed it also, they have a special area for children 4 & younger and there is a section in there just for infants. And if you know Bailey, she tried to put every toy in her mouth so we had to bring her one of her toys.

After the museum we went out to eat. Bailey loved sitting in the highchair, she had a blast. Reagan ate a grilled cheese and had fun entertaining Bailey. Both girls behaved really well for little naps & playing hard at the museum.

Going to sleep was interesting in one room, but we did fine. Bailey konked out quickly while Eric & Reagan were swimming in the indoor pool. Then she woke up not long afterwards and didn’t like being in that pack & play while we were all up. So we moved her pack & play towards the door/hallway/closet area where she couldn’t see us and where it was darker. Once we put her down then she fell asleep pretty quick and made it until the next morning. I got to share a bed with Reagan and she did great and slept good all night. So we survived our first night in one room together.

The rest of the TN trip - Nashville

Our drive to Nashville was pretty quick from Chattanooga. We did have to stop for Reagan about 20 mins from the hotel, but what do you do! Mama & Papa D were already checked in so they got the girls as we checked in and got everything unpacked & put up in the room. The girls got some playing time and Bailey was just thrilled to be out of that carseat!

For dinner on Friday night, we walked up to Maggiano's. Of course we had a great dinner there, their food is just awesome! Reagan did well and so did Bailey, but it was past her bedtime so Mama, Bailey & I left as Reagan finished her ice cream.

Bailey got a quick bath and I got her settled down as Reagan had her quick bath. Then Bailey went to bed and was out in 2 seconds! Reagan got to stay up with us in Mama & Papa D's room for awhile. Then her & I came to bed and she finally fell out. She was more restless during the night so I didn't sleep well at all! But that didn't stop me from getting up to go for a run. I actually saw one guy from our hall, up and heading to the gym to work out. It felt great outside and that is what probably helped me during my run/walk.

We had a good big breakfast and then went back to the room so Bailey could take her a nap. Reagan walked around the hotel and the tailgating area with Mama & Papa D. Then we all headed over to the park so Reagan could play at the play ground. They even had swings for Bailey and she loved it! Then we got to feed the ducks & geese and Reagan really enjoyed that. We then begin to wonder how we were going to get Reagan back to the hotel. Well a firetruck pulled up to the apt's next to the park so that made Reagan want to go back. We all went back to the hotel and everyone (yes, even Reagan) took a nap, well except for me (and I'm the one that didn't sleep great and was up early running!). But I did get some rest while I was laying there with Reagan while we were trying to get her to nap.

We ate some good BBQ for a late lunch and then got ready and headed over to the game. Just love staying at the Holiday Inn, with the stadium being right across the street, so nice! Bailey actually wore her Georgia hat which matched her outfit, she looked so cute! Reagan had her cheerleading outfit on and was ready to go!

We got to the game and of course everyone thought Bailey was just adorable in her hat & outfit. Reagan was looking for Hairy Dawg and Uga. Bailey fell alseep and slept almost the whole first quarter! Both girls did great for being a night game and being so busy the past few days. Since no one ever came & sat in the 2 seats beside us, Mama & Papa D came over during half and joined us. Poor Mama had to take Reagan to the bathroom not long after that long walk over to our seats. Bailey & I left towards the end of the 3rd quarter and Reagan, Mama & Papa D left during the 4th quarter. Eric stayed until the end.

Our last night in the hotel went good, both girls slept great once they got to sleep. We got up, got everything all packed up, ate a good breakfast then went to the car to head home. As we get to our car, a guy was pulling in the spot behind us and he pulled in so far that his car touched our car. Well the license tag bolts left a mark on our car, while it isn't the worst thing that can happen, but my car is a new car! So of course Eric did all his "work" and got all the necessary information and took pictures.

The ride home went fine, we made 3 stops, one of them was 30 minutes of Reagan & I in the bathroom (not fun at all!). There were some moments where the girls cried at the same time, but overall they did well.

Here are a few pics from the rest of the trip. But since I'm still paying for webshots, most of the pics are over there along with some videos. There is one video you have to watch from the Childrens Museum, it is of Reagan driving a car, but it shows you guys never grow up! I'm also going to upload more pics & videos today, and one video is of Reagan making Bailey laugh, there is nothing cuter than a baby laughing.

Birthday's

October is one of those big birthday months for our family (we have my Mom, Ansley, my Grandmother, Eric's Oma, my cousin Andy and my grandfather Papa). So Friday we celebrated my Mom's birthday with some Pizza Hut and cake! On Saturday we went over to Krista's house for Ansley's party. Her & Reagan had tons of fun! Here are some pics:

Getting Caught Up for September

Okay, so I had this whole big post getting caught up then I messed it up & couldn't post it. Basically I was getting you all caught up on what had happened lately. So I will quickly do that now.

In Sept, we celebrated Eric's birthday and my Dad's birthday. Eric went to the first two UGA games then Reagan & I went to the other 2 home games. Bailey actually got to tailgate at one of the games and she did great and everyone wanted to hold her.

We went to the Fair with Krista & her family and we brought Oma along also. Everyone had a great time and the girls loved the rides! So that is a good sign for Disney!!

Reagan is loving school and doing great! They have been learning about community helpers, so her Daddy the Police Officer came to her school to show them the police car! It was lots of fun! She loves going to the Bulldog games and listening to the Bulldog music, it's so cute! She is such a big girl now!

Bailey is growing so fast! She is sitting up now and has a tooth! And the 2nd one is coming in! She just loves her big sister and smiles every time she sees her, so adorable! She is a great eater even though she makes faces when she eats her fruits and not veggies (now if that will just continue in life!)

We are headed to TN this weekend for the UGA/Vandy game. So we are leaving on Thursday and hitting Chattanooga on the way up. We hope to go to the Childrens Discovery Museum on Thursday when we get there then on Friday we will go to the Aquarium. After that we will head up to Nashville! Since the game is early evening we will have fun entertaining Reagan during the day. But at least Bailey can hopefully get her naps in! I will hopefully post quicker this time and provide the fun details (I'm sure we will have some funny stories to share) & pics from this trip!

Well, I'm going to post some pictures from the past month, you've probably seen them already if you've been out on my webshots page.
