Soccer Camp

Soccer camp went great! All 3 girls did wonderful all week long, we're all so proud of them. I took way too many pictures (well I was also taking pictures of all 3 girls plus their cheerleaders Bailey & Tyler) so I had to pick some and post them to a web album. I just don't have the time to post them here.

But they did great and they learned a lot. Reagan loves to practice her "soccer camp" now and is looking forward to playing in the fall. Bailey seems to love it also, she was kicking a ball around on Friday and having a blast. She even told one of the waitress's Friday night that she played soccer!

They had to have camp in the gym on Tuesday but the rest of the week was great, so they were outside on the high school football field. That was nice, especially for Bailey & Tyler so they could run around. I even got a run in on Thursday thanks for it being right there at the track.

On Friday some of the parents got to play a game with the kids and that was lots of fun to watch. Of course nothing like Krista scoring the first goal! But Reagan did score a goal for the kids, very exciting! Then at the end of the day, they called each child's name over the PA and the child ran from the tunnel to Coach Manders and got their certificate, pretty cool!

Enjoy the pictures!

Memorial Day weekend events

We kept busy during Memorial Day weekend but still got some relaxing in. On Saturday, Reagan & I went to see Emma's ballet recital, her first one! She did so good! Sunday, we went to Sunday School and then later that day we went over to the Manders for some good food & fun. That night, I didn't think Reagan would go to bed, she was so concerned about her big 1 mile race the next morning! So on Monday morning we got up & ran in the Dacula 1 mile Fun Run and the 5k. Reagan, Ansley, Krista & I did the 1 mile fun fun and the girls did good. They ran and walked and we were not last (I did think at one point we might be last). Then after their race, Krista & I ran the 5k. It was humid, but it misted some which felt pretty good and the sun wasn't blazing to make the humidity worse.

We're blessed to be able to enjoy such a fun weekend thanks to all our troops that have served in the past and that are now currently serving!

Reagan graduated from Pre K!

Reagan had her Pre K Graduation Celebration Picnic this week and it was lots of fun. We especially enjoyed watching Reagan actually sing the songs! It was a casual celebration where the kids just sang a few songs to the parents and then we ate lunch and enjoyed the pretty day, even though it was windy and cool. It was a wonderful day celebrating Reagan and her friends graduating from Pre K. Just can't believe the year is over, it feels like yesterday we just found who her teachers were going to be and we were there for Open House so she could meet them. They were so wonderful to Reagan and really helped with her opening up a lot this year!

We officially now have a child that is a Kindergartner!

They got their diploma's on Monday

Reagan's Field Day

Reagan did really well at her Field Day this year, she actually participated in all the events and had a great time. There were several kids who weren't participating or were crying, so it was nice not having to deal with that this year and just get to enjoy watching her have fun.

Her class won the two class events so they came in First Place for Field Day! They were just thrilled to have wonderful weather!

After the Field Day activities each class went on Scavenger Hunt throughout the building then got a prize at the end. After the Hunt, there was a pie eating contest which Reagan's buddy Parker M won.

Reagan loved it and we've already watched the video from Field Day twice! She was thrilled to show Eric on the video all that she had done.
